As you mention we – at the PES campaign office – are very aware that there is a need for a lot more interaction and communication between the parties and institutions in Brussels and the citizens of Europe. We know this is a big challenge and that the problem will not be solved anytime soon – but every big journey starts with the first step. We definitely bear in mind the “trap” in which Segolene Royal fell in France. We’ll try to avoid it by giving a regular feedback and summing up on the discussions on a weekly/monthly basis. So hopefully, we won’t end up with hundreds of pages of ideas that we won’t be able to consider as they deserve!
